Permitting Coordination
The part everyone dreads, handled.

Why permits stall — and how we keep yours moving
Most projects don't get held up at the counter; they get held up in the correction cycles. San Diego's plan check sends back comments, and each round of back-and-forth adds weeks if the submittal wasn't complete and accurate to begin with. The fix is doing it right the first time: complete site plans, correct setbacks, the energy and structural details the reviewer expects, and a submittal package that anticipates the questions.
We prepare that package and manage the jurisdiction from submittal through issuance — City of San Diego, the unincorporated County, and the smaller cities each have their own quirks, and we know them. When corrections come back, we turn them around quickly instead of letting your project sit in someone's queue.
Standalone, or part of the build
You don't have to be building with us to use our permitting. We take on permitting and plans as a standalone engagement for homeowners, designers, and other contractors who just need the approvals handled by people who do it constantly.
And because we also do the engineering and the construction, we can produce whatever the submittal is missing — structural calcs, Title 24, grading, architectural details — without sending you out to assemble it from three different firms.
Approved plans, engineered in-house
Real plan sets we drew, stamped, and got approved through San Diego–area jurisdictions — not stock images.

Common questions
- Can you handle permitting if someone else is building?
- Yes. We take on permitting and plans as a standalone engagement for homeowners, designers, and other contractors. Because we also do engineering in-house, we can produce anything the submittal is missing — structural, Title 24, grading, or architectural details — without sending you to separate firms.
- Why does permitting take so long in San Diego?
- Usually it's the correction cycles, not the initial review. Each round of plan-check comments adds time when the submittal wasn't complete. We prepare thorough packages up front and turn corrections around fast, which is what actually shortens the path to issuance.
- Which jurisdictions do you work with?
- We handle permitting across the City of San Diego, the unincorporated County, and the surrounding cities. Each has its own submittal requirements and review quirks, and managing those differences is exactly what we do day in and day out.
