Earthwork & Grading
Grading done by the numbers.
Grading is the foundation of every site — get it wrong and you get settling, ponding, and failures years later. We move and shape earth to the engineered plan, control erosion, and stabilize slopes so the site performs.
Hillside and cut-and-fill work is exacting, which is exactly why it takes a Class A license and real engineering. We do both in-house.
What's included
- Mass grading
- Precision grading
- Hillside grading
- Slope repair
- Erosion control
- Landslide stabilization
- Drainage swales & berms

Common questions
- What's the difference between mass and precision grading?
- Mass grading moves large volumes of earth to rough-shape a site; precision (fine) grading brings it to exact finished elevations for pads, flatwork, and drainage. Most projects need both, in sequence.
- Can you fix a failing or slipping slope?
- Yes — slope repair and landslide stabilization are core Class A work. Our engineers assess the cause and design the fix, whether that's regrading, retaining, drainage, or soil stabilization.
